No No Hair Removal System Reviews: Editorial and User Reviews
Of all home hair removers, one of the most popular is the No! No! hair removal system. It manages to deliver on an often-promised (but seldom achieved) claim: fast, effective long-term hair removal.
But is No!No! hair removal permanent?
No. Only electrolysis is FDA-approved for the label “permanent hair removal”. However, No!No! does supply hair removal for several months, and can be applied at home.
How Does No!No! Hair Removal System Work?
No!No! uses a method similar to electrolysis, but with a unique twist. Whereas electrolysis sends an electric current to permanently kill hair at the root, No!No! uses a patented thermodynamic wire to deliver heat to the hair’s root. This heat does not permanently remove hair, but does dramatically slow down regrowth. Therefore, No!No! is legally termed a “hair reducer” not “hair remover”.
No!No! Hair Remover Benefits
No! No! claims to remove hair without scraping, pulling or waxing. Simply run the device along the desired area, check the red and green lights to ensure you’re doing it right, and let it do its thing.
Unlike laser treatment – which only works on dark pigmented hair – No!No! works on all hair and skin types.
How Often Should You Use No!No!
According to Radiancy (creator of No!No! ) you should use this treatment two to three times a week for the first three months, then scale back to once a week for the fourth month. The system requires a small (1/8 inch) of hair stubble in order to effectively remove the hair root.
Hair regrowth may be thinner and softer than before treatment, though these reports are subjective at the moment.
How Effective Is No!No! at Hair Removal?
Unfortunately, results have been less than positive for most users. Many first-time users are disappointed in No!No!’s initial treatment and don’t stick with the product.
However, long-term results are favorable… IF you can stick with it.
And that’s the problem with home hair removal products: without a trained professional to set expectations, many customers instead purchase a product based on an infomercial. Which of course is a recipe for disaster.
No! No! requires at least three months of dedicated effort to see any results. And remember: these are not permanent results. At best, you’ve got 4 – 8 weeks before the hair grows back (similar to waxing).
So Is No!No! Hair Removal System Worth It?
In a word: maybe.
If you can stick with this home hair removal system for the recommended three months, then yes, the No!No! system works very well. And if you can continue to use it as needed, you’ll see even better results.
On the other hand, if you’re looking for a simple one-stop solution, consider waxing at a salon. Less treatment times, and longer intervals between treatments than using No!No!.
In terms of price, the No! No! hair removal system is certainly cheaper than electrolysis, though not nearly as effective. Depending on your situation, one will inevitably be better than the other.
